I first met him in 1994 while doing a report on Spanish fashion photography. One of the names in my list was Miquel Arnal. Since then i have had many opportunities to keep track of his work while leafing through fashion magazines, seeing the impact of his advertising campaigns or enjoying his books and exhibitions. As time has passed i have to understand his approach to photography, and have even been allowed to see his personal files - the ones every photographer keeps in some half-forgotten corner of his studio.
