Linda Margaretha de Mol (Hilversum, July 8, 1964) is a Dutch television presenter and actress at RTL 4. De Mol is best known for presenting programs such as Love Letters, Homerun (known in Germany as Hausfieber), and Miljoenenjacht, in the television series Spangen and she played the lead role in the feature film Ellis in Glamourland from 2004. In 2003 she launched her own lifestyle women's magazine LINDA.

Linda de Mol was born in Hilversum. Her father, John de Mol Sr. was a singer, she made her debut on Dutch television by singing in the AVRO's children's choir. Then she presented the AVRO program "Wat je zegt ben jezelf" at the age of 12. After three years of studying law at the VU University in Amsterdam, De Mol in 1985 with presenting The DJ Kat Show for the television channel Sky Channel In 1988 she was heard for some time as a DJ on the first commercial radio station Cable One d that could be received in the Netherlands. She was also an assistant to Ron Brandsteder in his Showbiz quiz for the TROS. Until 2005 she presented many programs for this broadcaster, including Miljoenenjacht from 2000. In addition to programs for the TROS, De Mol also presented programs for German television for many years, including the very popular Traumhochzeit, the German version of Love Letters.

In 2001 she was discredited after she consoled a Dutch quiz candidate, who did not know the composer of the German national anthem, with the remark "Well, it's a rotten song." To the subsequent uproar in the German press, De Mol responded with an apology that she did not intend it hurtful.

Linda Margaretha de Mol (Hilversum, 8 juli 1964) is een Nederlands televisiepresentatrice en actrice bij RTL 4. De Mol is vooral bekend geworden door programma's als Love Letters, Homerun (in Duitsland bekend als Hausfieber) en Miljoenenjacht te presenteren. Daarnaast acteerde ze in de televisieserie Spangen en speelde ze de hoofdrol in de speelfilm Ellis in Glamourland uit 2004. In 2003 lanceerde ze haar eigen lifestyle-vrouwentijdschrift LINDA.

Linda de Mol werd geboren in Hilversum. Haar vader, John de Mol sr. was zanger. Als jong meisje debuteerde ze op de Nederlandse televisie door te zingen in het AVRO's kinderkoor. Daarna presenteerde ze op twaalfjarige leeftijd het AVRO-programma Wat je zegt ben je zelf. Na drie jaar rechten te hebben gestudeerd aan de Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, begon De Mol in 1985 met het presenteren van de The DJ Kat Show voor de televisiezender Sky Channel. In 1988 was ze enige tijd te horen als dj op het eerste commerciële radiostation Cable One dat in Nederland te ontvangen was. Ook was ze assistente van Ron Brandsteder in zijn Showbizzquiz voor de TROS. Tot en met 2005 presenteerde ze vele programma's voor deze omroep, waaronder Miljoenenjacht vanaf 2000. Naast programma's voor de TROS presenteerde De Mol ook jarenlang programma's voor de Duitse televisie, waaronder het zeer populaire Traumhochzeit, de Duitse versie van Love Letters.

In 2001 kwam zij in opspraak nadat zij een Nederlandse quizkandidaat, die de componist van het Duitse volkslied niet kende, troostte met de opmerking 'Ach, het is toch een rotlied.' Op de daaropvolgende opschudding in de Duitse pers reageerde De Mol met een verontschuldiging dat ze het niet kwetsend bedoeld had.
